Work Permit Application

Employer Qualification:

• Turnover in excess of at least NT$ 10 million per annum.


• In the case of newly formed Company Limited by Share, the paid in capital of the Company must exceed NT$ 5 million


• In the case of a newly formed Branch, the paid in capital must exceed NT$ 5 Million.

Required Documents

• Copy of the most recent year income tax return (Not required if newly formed).


• Minutes of Directors' Resolution (In the case of Branch, this is not required)


• Employment Contract


• Copy of Company License, Certificate to Conduct Business (GT will prepare this).

Foreigner Qualification:

 

Academic Qualification	Working Experience  (Since graduation)
Phd	None needed
Master Degree	At least one year of working experience
University Bachelor Degree	At least two years of working experience
Technical College	At least three years of working experience
High School or below	At least eight years of working experience

Required Documents:

• Graduation Certificate (Must be Authenticated by Taiwan Foreign Affairs Office)


• Work Experience Certificate (Must be authenticated by Taiwan Foreign Affairs Office)


• Copy of passport


• Passport photo 2 copies

It will take approximately 14 working days for our Government to approve the employment contract.

After the contract has been approved, it will take another 2 weeks for our Government to approve work permit.

It takes another one week to obtain Alien Residence Certificate.
