Taiwan has signed tax treaty with a number of countries around the world. An update listing of tax treaties can be found at Ministry of Finance website at http://www.dot.gov.tw/display/list.asp?lang=0In order to apply Tax Treaty, Taiwan Tax Authority may require Taiwan Companies to submit a set of documents to Local District Tax Office for pre-approval.
